The first official dead animal blog. I hope no one is jealous of this fresh piece of meat that we will be getting to eat. Talk about going green 100% organic wild turkey baby. We finally got out of town on Thursday and made the 5 hour journey down to Blanding and set up camp. Jake spent the first day trying to find the turkeys they were not as plentiful as he had been told so he was super excited to bag this nice tom on Saturday. Way to go Jake Rylee is proud.

Awesome! But, come on, Lynly...Jake already told us there was no way in hell you were eating that! Ha ha ha! Sssshh! I wouldn't either!
The pics of Rylee next to the dead turkey are priceless. Hopefully she wasn't scared and good thing she doesn't understand yet. Kinsey would be sad.
Just think guys in about 8 years peanut will have her own youth model 20 gauge and will be in the blind with dad waiting for a turkey of her own! That will be so cool!
